New Views of The Forum Theatre

If you're a fan of Roman revival architecture, head out to 4050 W. Pico Blvd. to look at the facade of the Forum Theatre -- still there in all its glory.

But if you want the best interior tour, head to the Forum Theatre webpage that I updated yesterday. I added five wonderful views to the page from the collection of the unstoppable theatre maven Cezar Del Valle.

One is a 2002 Betty Sword photo of the facade. But the interior tour I promised you comes from 4 views Cezar is sharing that appeared in a 1924 Architectural Record article. Included is this proscenium view. You can click on it to go to a full size version on Flickr. Also recently added is a nice 1927 postcard from the site Penny Postcards From California.

Check out the Forum page. Doesn't it just want to make you go to church this Sunday and come back with some recent interior views to share with us? Please?
