Don't you love this view of the marquee of the Warner Bros. Hollywood in 1937?
I ran across it last week while, as usual, looking for something else. It's from a very interesting UCLA web page called "Remapping Hollywould." No, that's not a typo.
Check out the page I've linked to for a great selection of vintage Hollywood photos. A few theatre views along with all sorts of other scenes -- 109 total.
And do go to the Warner Bros. Hollywood page for many more views of the theatre.
Also new on the page is a terrific 1945 view up Hollywood Blvd. from the Richard Wojcik collection. I found it on Alison Martino's Vintage Los Angeles. It's hard to keep up with Alison and her many contributors.
