The Belasco Theatre

The Belasco, at 1050 S. Hill St., is a 1926 Morgan, Walls and Clements design that was intended for legitimate drama. It's still there, reopened as a music club and events center after a multi-million dollar renovation. The early Mott Studios photo here is in the collection of the Los Angeles Public Library.  See our Belasco Theatre pages for many more views both vintage and recent.
