The Tracy Theatre

The Tracy, at 219 E. Seaside Way in Long Beach, opened in 1925 as the Ritz. Within a short period of time it was renamed the Capitol and then on to being the Tracy.  The photo is from the Mott-Merge collection of the California State Library. See our page on the Tracy Theatre for many more photos of this lovely Boller Brothers design.  Sadly, like much of historic Long Beach, the Tracy has been demolished.
