Wondering About The Hollywood Theatre

Have you ever been inside this one? I haven't -- either as a moviegoer or a Guinness Museum patron. And, sadly, I've never seen any interior views. And the venue has been around since 1913 -- it was Hollywood's second theatre.

But the sign is so iconic that it shows up in lots of vintage views. Here is a 50s postcard that I added to the page recently. It was part of the collection on the now-vanished website Yesterday LA. Also new on the page are a post-closing photo by Gary Graver and a sweet 1947 noirish view posted by Alison Martino on Vintage Los Angeles.

Check out the page on the Hollywood Theatre for these items and more. And if you have those interior shots in the attic, send them along.
