The Palace Grand in Glendale

The Glendale Theatres section of the website continues to expand. I just got a page put together on the Palace Grand, which opened in 1914.

If you saw the new page on the Melrose Theatre recently you'll note that this was a project of the same man, Henry Jensen. Jensen was a brick maker who did well supplying his product to a rapidly expanding Los Angeles.

The photo here shows the Palace Grand on the right. It's from the Los Angeles Public Library collection. Click on it to go to the full size view on their website.

Or check out the new Palace Grand Theatre page for more information.
