The Linda Lea Theatre

The Linda Lea at 251 S. Main St. opened as the Arrow in 1925.  For years the home of Japanese films as the Linda Lea, its original facade was covered by what you see here in a c.2007 photo appearing on Ken McIntyre's Photos of Los Angeles Facebook page.

The site is now occupied by an almost new building, the Downtown Independent Theatre.

To see the original facade that was uncovered (and then demolished) in 2007, check out a photo on our Los Angeles Theatres Facebook page.

And for additional information and photos check out our web page on the Linda Lea/Downtown Independent.
