The Million Dollar Ticket Lobby

The two south bays of the Million Dollar Theatre building were for a time serving as an open-air ticket lobby. Here Wendell Benedetti (on the LAHTF Facebook page) has taken a 1919 C. Haven Bishop photo taken for Southern California Edison Co. (they were the office building tenants) and enhanced it to give us more clarity in that open boxoffice area.

Click on the image for a larger view.  Mr. Bishop's photo is in the collection of the Huntington Library.

Wendell's work is now on our web page devoted to the Million Dollar Theatre boxoffice area.
