The West Coast Theatre

The West Coast, a 1925 Meyer and Holler design at 333 E. Ocean Blvd., ended up being Long Beach's largest movie palace. The original Chinese interior was a dress rehearsal of sorts for the firm's 1927 work on Grauman's Chinese in Hollywood. See our West Coast Theatre page for more views of this now vanished theatre.  The 1925 view from the top of the balcony is in the collection of the Los Angeles Public Library.
