Melrose Theatre

4350 Melrose Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90029

The former Melrose Theatre.  Photo: Google Maps - 2011

Dates: All that is known is that this one was running in 1916 -- it's in that year's city directory. The building on the site dates from 1914 -- it's now a mini-mart.

The location is on the south side of the street just east of the 101 and just half a block or so west of the 1924 vintage Jensen's Melrose Theatre. In the photo that's Heliotrope Dr. on the left. On the right we're looking west on Melrose.
