Opening week - June 26, 1911
Thanks to Michelle Gerdes for sharing the 1911 program pages appearing here. The first six months of the theatre's programs appear in a bound volume she acquired from the collection of the late theatre historian Wally Shidler of Walnut Park. The programs had been bound by one of the theatre's advertisers, B. Nidorf, a ladies tailor. The pages are about 5 1/4" x 8 3/4".
Note that Los Angeles is represented twice on the back cover. In the upper right it's this theatre on Broadway. In the lower center it's the theatre on Spring St, soon renamed the Lyceum, that had been called the Orpheum until the week of this program.
